Dr. Butkins is a coach, licensed marriage and family therapist and mental health provider specializing in individual, couples, personal and life coaching as well as mental health, group and family therapy.  He is an author, lecturer, researcher  and maintains a private practice in the Orlando, Florida area.

With over 45 years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Niagara University and the University of Florida, specializing in coaching, mental health and marriage and family therapys.  He is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.  Among his areas of expertise are personal, life and corporate caoching as well as individual, group and marriage counseling and addictions.

In addition to being a prominent life coach and therapist, Dr. Butkins has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of stress management, addictions, mental health, website substance abuse prevention and suicide prevention.  He also specializes in family addiction treatment.

Dr. Butkins is a knowledgeable coach and an interactive, eclectic, solution-focused therapist.  He has a background in Gestalt therapy. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback as well as promote action to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding,  he works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
